So the chocolate seashells I posted last week were a big hit. And the cake and surprise bridal shower went off without a hitch. Here is the final cake- three layers of all-butter vanilla pound cake, filled with lemon curd (thanks Trader Joe’s!) and frosted with a salted vanilla buttercream. The decorations? White chocolate molded seashells decorated with luster dust & a sprinkle of edible silver glitter stars.
